I’m not much of a bag lady or a designer fiend when it comes to shopping. I would more than happily spend money on a pair of shoes than I would on a bag. However while walking through the designer bag section in Selfridges the other day something happened. I was drawn to a bag, the Chloe Drew bag to be specific. But it wasn’t just the one bag, it was at least 4-5 bags. I found myself daydreaming about each bag and where I would wear them. Once I came to my senses, I realised that I was finally catching the bag bug.
All the bags I noticed were black so there was some sense of practicality in my bag madness. I feel like if you are going to buy a designer bag and you don’t make at least £60,000 a year then you should be practical about it. Because that bag will usually cost more than a months rent and a return ticket to a luxury destination. So for me it better be a bag that could go with anything and not get dirty.
To stop my urge from taking out a Wonga loan and pretending I was the 5th member of Sex and the city with a piece of designer arm candy, I decided to keep my bag lady way up in the clouds and make an edit of a few of my designer must haves.
