There are a number of cleansing facial brushes on the market ranging from £69-£155. I was lucky enough to get a Clinique Sonic Brush for Christmas, I was really excited because both my sister and my flatmate have cleansing brushes (different brands) and I loved trying theirs.
Having used Clinique products for over 12 years I was eager to try out the clinique brush despite there being loads of cleansing brushes on the market. It also has the foaming facial soap that has always been a part of my 3 step skin care plan. The first thing I noticed about the brush is that it is very compact which is great because you could pack it away very easily if you were going away for a weekend or staying at a friend's house. It comes with a USB compatible charger along with a plug-in. The bristles are gentle but it still feels like they are getting down to the nitty gritty bits. The brush has 2 different heads, one for all over and one for the T-zone however I have used both all over.
I have seen dramatic improvements since I have been using the brush and have started using it everyday in the morning. Over a month of using this brush I have noticed improvements in the T-zone, reduction in open pores and areas where I get slight breakouts. I would however advise not to overuse products with the brush and not to brush too vigorously. Initially I was given foaming soap and was using this on top of my facial soap. This is a definite no no as it made my skin dry (I am prone to dry patches anyway) and I had to use additional moisturiser.
My face is definitely brighter and clearer! Realistically I would not of gone out and bought this (though I did really want one). However, I am so glad that I now have one and it is definitely worth investing in if you are considering purchasing one. It is slightly on the cheaper side of the cleansing brush spectrum, which is good as I feel it is marketed to our age group and price bracket.
